Flashpoint was founded in 1999 by Gabriele Scibilia, whose strong background in chemistry, passion for the hazardous materials, and industrial experience led to the creation of the first Italian company specializing in consulting on dangerous goods, acting as an “ADR Consultant” for businesses. Over the years, Flashpoint expanded its expertise to include chemicals consultancy (Safety Data Sheets, REACH and CLP regulations, etc.), ultimately establishing itself as a group comprising the current three companies: Flashpoint S.r.l. provides consultancy on the import, export, place on the EU market and management of chemicals, and the transport of dangerous goods by road, rail, sea, and air.. It assists companies in applying market surveillance provisions and product compliance regulations to ensure compliance goals are met. Flashpoint Learning S.r.l. is the training school offering courses and training programs in the same areas as Flashpoint, targeting managerial roles and their collaborators in regulatory, product safety, risk assessment, quality, environmental, R&D, and procurement areas. Flashtox S.r.l. specializes in consultancy in the food sector – food safety and applied toxicology for food – as well as toxicology and risk assessment for chemicals. The Group’s staff comprises over 40 people across three locations in Lombardy, Tuscany, and Veneto, operating nationwide.
